Kruger National Park

South Africa is a vast and beautiful country encompassing a diverse range of travel destinations and sightseeing highlights to delight any visitor. From wildlife safaris in the world renowned Kruger National Park and Sabi Sand Game Reserve, to the spectacular Sun City resort or the scenic Garden Route and majestic Cape Town – South Africa offers an unforgettable travel experience of a lifetime. Some of South Africa’s top travel destinations include:
The greater Kruger National Park is a huge transfrontier game reserve incorporating the Kruger Park itself, adjacent private game reserves like Sabi Sand and Timbavati, the Limpopo National Park in Mozambique, and the Gonarezhou National Park in Zimbabwe.

This is one of the largest conservation areas in the world, and offers fantastic game viewing. The Kruger Park is South Africa’s top safari destination, and a must visit destination for anyone planning a trip to South Africa. The reserve is home to the Big Five – elephants, buffalo, rhino, lions and leopards, as well as giraffe, zebra, wildebeest, hippo, crocodile, hyena, wild dog, cheetah, baboons, monkeys, warthogs, and various species of antelopes. The best way to experience Kruger is to go on an open vehicle safari with an expert safari guide.

Sabi Sand:

Sabi Sand is a collection of privately owned game reserves adjacent to the Kruger National Park. There are no fences between the Sabi Sand and Kruger Park, so the animals roam around freely and the wildlife found in the Sabi Sand is exactly the same as in the Kruger Park. Generally, the game lodges in the Sabi Sand are upmarket, luxury safari lodges. All meals and 4X4 game drives are usually included in the rate, and the Land Rovers are able to go off-road to get closer to the animals (this is not possible in the Kruger Park itself, where vehicles have to stay on the road). The Sabi Sand Game Reserve is known as the best place in the world to see leopards in the wild, and the destination of choice for travellers looking for a luxury South African safari.
